Threading in Lombard, IL

Threading is the craft Delicacy is known for — and the one our founder has practiced and taught for more than thirty years. A thin cotton thread is doubled, twisted and rolled across the skin, lifting short rows of hair straight from the follicle. It's far more precise than tweezing, and because nothing but cotton touches your skin — no heat, no wax, no chemicals — it's a favorite for sensitive skin.
Every brow starts with a conversation about the shape you want. We map it to your face, thread it clean, then trim long hairs and tidy any strays the thread missed, so both sides match.
Precision shaping
Threading lifts short rows of hair at a time, so we can sculpt a clean, defined line — hair by hair where it matters.
Gentle on skin
Only cotton thread touches your face: no heat, no adhesive, no chemicals. A good alternative if your skincare routine makes waxing a no-go.
Finished, not just shaped
Every brow includes a trim and a final tidy so both sides are even — the detail our regulars come back for.

Threading questions
How long does eyebrow threading take?
The threading itself usually takes only a few minutes. A full face takes a little longer.
Can I get threaded if I use retinol or acne medication?
Threading is often a better option than waxing for people using retinoids, because nothing pulls on the skin's surface. Tell us what you use — and check with your dermatologist if you're on a prescription treatment.
How long should I grow my brows before reshaping?
If you want a new shape, give them two to four weeks of growth so we have more to work with.
